Here’s a few ideas on how to get more energy:

1. Drink Water

If you’re dehydrated you can feel tired. Drink ice water for a boost in energy.

2. Exercise

Incorporating daily movement in your life can increase your energy levels. Sitting all day will make you feel sluggish.

Start slow, fitting in a short walk or jog, or doing a ten minute workout at home. Build from there and you should start to see an increase in your energy.

3. Improve Your Sleep

If you’re not getting enough sleep, there’s no way around it. You’re going to be tired. Make sure you’re getting seven to eight hours of sleep.

You’ll sleep better if you can stay away from your phone and any other screen in the hour before you go to bed.

4. Nap

Taking a nap for 20 minutes can give you a boost in energy to get through the rest of your day.

5. Stretch

If you’ve hit a slump in the middle of the day, doing some stretches can boost your energy.

6. Turn up the Music

But on 2-3 of your favorite songs and get into the music. You’ll naturally feel more awake and alert afterwards.

7. Meditate

Meditating every day for 10-15 minutes can help you deal with stress and calm your mind which will in turn, give you more energy.

8. Meet a Friend

Getting out of the house or the office for a quick cup of coffee with a friend can give you a boost in energy.
